Whenever my phone or email starts hopping, I know it’s time to sort out details to secure purchase orders and please our customers.
I often liken my work to detective work. To prepare a quote, we need to figure out what machining needs and machine our customers are using. To specify adapter plate sizes, we need to know what the spindle mount is.

I absolutely LOVED this drawing a customer penned, scanned, and emailed over to me. It doesn’t get any clearer than this. I love it when communication is solid, articulate, and precise. Unfortunately, these dimensions don’t fit any of our soft jaw sets, but custom jobs are always available.
Here’s to hoping that more adorable hand-drawn dimensional drawings are sent my way. They really make my day!
