Best Chuck is hiring a unique individual for a job that requires heavy lifting and light computer work. This ain’t a beauty contest, it’s a warehouse. You WILL get dirty on the job (machine grease), and there is no escaping paperwork.

This is initially a part-time position with full-time potential.

HEAVY LIFTING:

  • Organizing inventory, labeling, and general clean-up around the warehouse.
  • Ability to bend, lift, and move items weighing up to 150 lbs. Familiarity with materials handling supplies and safety a plus.
  • Unloading ocean shipments of palleted crates and boxes.
  • Shipping, packing, and sorting items daily.

LIGHT COMPUTER WORK:

  • Use UPS Worldship to prepare shipping labels and reports.
  • Use MS Office to prepare faxes, quotes, and marketing documents.
  • Use QuickBooks to invoice customers.
  • Update inventory and other databases on multiple platforms.

FULL-TIME POTENTIAL: (benefits granted after 90-day probation period):

  • Ability to answer sales calls about machine products, compatibility, and technical assistance.
  • Assist with importation documents and ocean orders.
  • Work independently in the warehouse and office.
  • Process purchase orders, ship packages, and assist with Accounts Payable/Receivable.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or sales industries.
  • Ability to learn technical and mechanical terminology.
  • Ability to work independently while being proactive and communicative.
  • Superior communication skills, sparkling personality, and peace of mind.
