It’s about time to reveal who my new hire is. :) Please meet Jen, my good friend and employee who will be working with me through September.

She started working for Best Chuck just last week and already, the office/warehouse has been turned upside down. Storefront windows — so clean you can see through ‘em. Kitchen — sparkling clean. Coffee — brewed fresh by 7a.m. daily. Warehouse — AMAZING rows of inventory, superbly intuitive organization skills, working our new pallet jack like a pro. Office — shipping POs left and right.

In short, she is extremely talented with an uncanny ability to focus on the prime tasks at hand. Shipping SNAFUs rarely faze her — my instinct is to ROAR when things go wrong in the daily grind. Jen’s reaction — analyze, question, problem-solve, search alternative solutions, weigh cost/benefit ratios, AND execute.

This is not a love letter to Jen. Merely my effusive thanks and gratitude for having such a fantastic team member. Welcome to Chuckland, Oakland!

PS She also took me to my first Giants game ever. Point. GO GIANTS! :)
