A fantastic little ditty from my girl Eleanor Roosevelt. Ever since my teen years, this quote has powered me through any and all obstacles life has thrown me.

Today’s fun story about Chuckland, Oakland was our annual commercial fire inspection. The Oakland Fire Department sent a few firefighters to run an inspection.

I had the pleasure of chatting with them for several minutes and shared our Best Chuck story of a home-grown business. When they saw my playa-coated camping gear sitting on top of 15” Strong N215 chuck crates, they inquired about my trip to Burning Man. Lo and behold, their fellow firefighters are burners too! :)

Next year, I’ll be looking for a jellyfish art car trolling deep playa. It’s nice to have friends in fun places.
